WHAT WE BELIEVE

We believe that a direct, ongoing spiritual relationship with the Creator of the universe has been made available to each one of us. This love-relationship is intimate, authentic, and honest, characterized by the sharing (us with Him and Him with us) of our hearts, thoughts, desires, pain and joy. This is made possible through His indwelling Spirit, and far exceeds the code of rules and ethics which so often, unfortunately, are the only face given to Christianity.

We believe in One God, revealed in the Trinity of Father, Jesus the Son and Holy Spirit.

We believe Jesus came to this earth, being supernaturally born of a virgin, and chose to be fully human and live among His own creation for the purpose of redeeming His creation back to Himself.

We believe that after a relatively brief time of life transforming ministry in his adulthood, Jesus was crucified and buried, raised by the Spirit of God on the 3rd day and ascended to where He is now at the right hand of the Father in Heaven.

We believe after Jesus’ ascension that His Spirit came to live within each believer who has received Jesus as both Savior and Lord.

We believe the Lord has granted eternal life with Him, to all those reconciled to Him through the grace given by Jesus for the forgiveness of sins.

We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit and the fullness of the gifts of the Spirit operating today.

We believe the Bible is the inspired, inerrant Word of God, used for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness.
